House calls for happy pets
Home is where pets feel safest. Our in-home services bring veterinary care to your living room, so your dog can keep their favorite spot on the couch and your cat can pretend the carrier does not exist.
Service overview
In-home euthanasia allows your pet to rest in a familiar place surrounded by loved ones. Your veterinarian explains the process, answers questions, and provides quiet space for goodbyes.
How to prepare
All in-home small animal appointments are first come, first served. These visits are offered during farm-call time slots when time allows. Please discuss your needs with the doctor before scheduling. Travel time and visit length can vary, and your veterinarian will help determine the best plan.
Important heads-up: Arrival windows are estimates that can shift based on travel, prior calls that run long, or true emergencies. We will keep you updated about our time of arrival by phone or text.

Sick pet support
Minor issues can be addressed only when combined with an annual wellness visit. Examples include ear infections, eye infections, or initial checks of a skin mass.
If your pet has vomiting, diarrhea, labored breathing, or coughing, please schedule at the clinic. These concerns usually need diagnostics and equipment that live at the hospital. If additional testing is needed during a house call, transport to the clinic may be required for complete care.

How scheduling works
- Talk with the doctor first
We confirm that an in-home visit is appropriate for your pet’s needs. - Reserve your time window
We assign you a farm-route slot and share an estimated arrival time. - Stay in the loop
If timing changes, we will call or text updates as we move between locations.
Before we arrive: quick checklist
A few simple steps keep the visit smooth. Consider this your “treats by the door” plan.
- Have pets safely contained in a small room or on a leash.
If pets cannot be found or handled, the service call fee still applies. - Share any behavior concerns. If a pet is too aggressive to treat, a service call is still charged.
- Make sure we can access your home
Special instructions help. Front door, side door, gate code, or “please honk.” - Confirm payment on file
A valid credit card must be added before we schedule.

Payment and receipts
Once services are completed, including any diagnostic samples, we finalize your invoice and charge the card on file. A paid receipt is sent to your email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you do everything at home?
Not everything. Wellness care, core vaccinations, screening tests, prevention injections, nail trims, and anal glands are a great fit. Concerns that need imaging, advanced diagnostics, or monitoring are handled at the clinic.
What if my pet gets nervous with visitors?
Tell us in advance. We can plan low-stress handling, use calming techniques, and recommend pre-visit medications when appropriate.
What if timing changes on the day of my visit?
Farm-route days have moving parts. We provide an estimated arrival window and update you by phone or text if travel or earlier calls affect the schedule.
Do you see sick pets at home without a wellness visit?
No. Sick concerns at home are limited to minor issues and only when combined with an annual wellness visit. Many illnesses need diagnostic tools based at the hospital.
Will I know costs in advance?
Yes. Service call and exam fees are fixed. Additional services can be estimated for you before the appointment.
